This week we were asked to take a survey to see what kind of learner we are. The survey is compiled of about 40 questions and it gave you your results once you were finished. Their were 4 sets of styles of that your results could be. You could either be an active or reflective learner, sensing or intuitive learner, visual or verbal learner, and sequential or global leaner. My results came out to be that I am reflective learner, which means when I learn something new I like to think about it quietly to myself. I am a intuitive learner meaning that I like new ideas and do not like repetition. I am a visual learner which means that I learn better with visual things like videos, pictures, charts, etc. Lastly, I am a sequential learner meaning that I like to learn in steps, not learning the whole thing then connecting everything else.
Everyone should take the time to complete this survey because it helped me learn a little about how I like to learn. This information can be very helpful when it comes to studying or choosing classes. I know that I will do better in a class with a teacher that uses a lot of videos and charts rather than a teacher that lectures. So take 5 minutes out of your day and learn a little about yourself!
